NEET 2022 Preparation Tips
To start their preparation a student, need to take certain steps. We are listing some tips which a student can follow to give a boost to their preparation plan.
1) Chapter-wise analysis and identification of important topics – NEET question papers are focused on topics from class11th and class12th, so students need to make sure that they focus on reading the NCERT books of classes 11th and 12th. Try to read chapters chronologically as prescribed by NCERT. The books are designed such that reading them sequentially will benefit the students most. Also, identify the important topics with help of your teacher and by analysing the earlier year question papers.
2) Flowcharts, diagrams, and acronyms – Preparing for any topic require the proper understanding and implementation of the concepts which can be done through the diagrams, flowcharts that are easy to visualize, and acronyms that are easy to memorize This will add in clearing the concepts and enhancing the learning process.
3) Analyse diagrams – Every student goes through the diagrams but to improve your understanding follow a trick of using a pen or pencil to virtually outline the given diagram to feed it in your mind because most of the time merely seeing the diagram does not help you to recall it during the examination.
4) Keywords and mnemonics - While studying theoretical portions of Biology, Physics, and Chemistry, note the keywords like biological names of organisms, flowers, and creatures in a sticky note, along with this you can also note down the biological process and their details in a line. For example, photosynthesis: related to plants, and then paste these notes on the wall of your study area to see and remember them frequently. In Physics, the formulas related to every topic can be written to remember them.
Another thing is to appear in a lot of mock tests and solve question papers from previous years. This gives a flavour of real examination and simulates the actual condition.
Lastly, keep a good check of your health as you need to be at your best for the next 3-4 months.
